Troublemaker (featuring Kat James) is a true Texas rock institution, proudly billed as the "longest running female-fronted rock band in the great state of Texas." Established in 1982 in the South East Texas area, this Conroe/Spring-based foursome has spent over three decades building a legacy defined by raw energy, musical versatility, and professional showmanship.

Music & Performance

Troublemaker’s sound is hard to define, blending elements of hard rock, classic rock, and blues. The band is highly melodic, featuring a bluesy side and a hard edge, often employing a strong “power groove.” They have four albums to their credit, including their latest release, “Janis On The Rocks / Troubelmaker Tribute” from 2011. Their most recent single “Waco” is highly popular and a fan favorite.

A versatile rock ensemble, Troublemaker is known for delivering a consistently professional and electrifying show. They have performed for countless fans across the United States, shared the stage with national acts, and are staples on the Texas circuit, regularly playing at:
